Your data is collected, processed and used in accordance with the statutory provisions, which you can find out more about at www.datenschutz.de, for example.

2. Collection and processing of your personal data

a.) Every time our website is accessed, data about this process is recorded in a log file. This data is stored exclusively for internal system-related and statistical purposes to improve our offer – you remain anonymous as a user. In detail, the following data is recorded and stored

  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Message as to whether the retrieval was successful
  • Description of the type of web browser used
  • the search terms you may have entered
  • the frequency with which you access individual web pages
  • Website from which you reached our site
  • requesting domain.

We also store your IP address and the name of your Internet service provider for a period of seven days for security reasons, in particular to prevent and detect attacks on our websites or attempts at fraud.

b.) Your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address will not be recorded unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a registration requested by you, an inquiry or an order for information material.

c.) You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide your personal data. However, it is possible that certain functions of our websites depend on the provision of personal data. If you do not provide personal data in these cases, this may result in functions not being available or only being available to a limited extent.

3. Purposes of use

a.) We use the data collected when you visit our website to operate our pages as conveniently as possible for you and to protect our IT systems from attacks and other illegal activities.
If you have provided us with personal data, we will only use it to fulfill your wishes and requests, such as to answer your inquiry.

b.) Your personal data will not be passed on, sold or otherwise transferred to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of processing the contract. For example, it may be necessary for us to pass on your address and project data to external suppliers in the case of orders.
You have the right to revoke such consent at any time with effect for the future.

The personal data will be deleted,

  • if you revoke your consent to storage;
  • if their knowledge is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which they were stored;
  • their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons.

4. Transfer of personal data to third parties

a.) Our websites may also contain third-party offers. If you click on such an offer, we transfer data to the respective provider to the extent necessary (e.g. the information that you have found this offer on our website and, if applicable, further information that you have already provided for this purpose on our websites).

b.) In order to enrich our range of information, you will find links on our site that refer to third-party sites. plantecs GmbH has no influence whatsoever on the content and design of these sites. If you click on the link to an offer or activate a social plug-in, personal data may be transferred to providers in countries outside the European Economic Area which, from the point of view of the European Union (“EU”), do not guarantee an “adequate level of protection” for the processing of personal data in accordance with EU standards. Please bear this in mind before clicking on a link or activating a social plug-in and thereby triggering a transfer of your data.

    6. Evaluation of usage data; use of analysis tools

a.) We would like to tailor the content of our websites as precisely as possible to your interests and in this way improve our offer for you. We use the following analysis tool(s) to identify usage preferences and particularly popular areas of the websites: Google Analytics

b.) When using these analysis tools, data may be transferred to servers located in the USA and processed there. Please note the following: From the perspective of the European Union, there is no “adequate level of protection” for the processing of personal data in the USA in line with EU standards. However, this level of protection can be replaced for individual companies by certification in accordance with the so-called “EU-U.S. Privacy Shield”.

c.) If you do not want us to collect and evaluate information about your visit to our websites using the aforementioned analysis tools, you can object to this at any time for the future (“opt-out”).
We will implement your objection by setting an opt-out cookie in your browser. This cookie is only used to assign your objection. Please note that, for technical reasons, an opt-out cookie only works in the browser in which it was set. If you delete the cookies or use a different browser or device, please opt out again.

d.) Below you will find information on the providers of the analysis tools we use and the respective opt-out option:

    Google Inc (“Google”):
Google is certified in accordance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.
You can prevent the transmission of your data and its collection and processing by Google. Google provides information about this via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

    Google Analytics:
This website uses Google Analytics and Google Remarketing. These are services provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Third-party providers, including Google, place advertisements on websites on the Internet. Third-party providers, including Google, use stored cookies to place ads based on a user’s previous visits to this website. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this website. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website: GOOGLE ANALYTICS DEACTIVATION

    7. Usage-based information (targeting and retargeting)

In order to tailor our online marketing (e.g. banner advertising) on the websites of our retargeting partners (Google AdWords and Google Doubleclick) more specifically to your needs and interests, we use so-called retargeting technologies. Your interest in our products and services is stored in cookies. When you visit other websites that work with our retargeting partners, these cookies are read and used to provide you with information that is as relevant to your interests as possible. This is done anonymously, i.e. you cannot be identified via retargeting.
If you do not want plantecs GmbH and its retargeting partners to collect, store and analyze information about your visit and tailor banner advertising to your interests, you can object to this at any time for the future (opt-out).
